Summer Playcamps and All-Day Camps Information
New Registration Dates for Summer Day Camps
Registration for all Playcamps, Rec ‘Em and Mountain Discovery Camps will now take place in February. These camps are now viewable online but registration does not open until the following week.
Opening dates in 2023:
- Monday, February 6, 2023 at 7 a.m. for Boise Residents
- Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 7 a.m. for Non-Residents

NOTE: Many parents rely on Mountain Discovery and Rec ‘Em camps to supplement summer childcare and want an opportunity to register for them before April for planning purposes.
All other summer camps offered by Boise Parks and Recreation will continue to have registration periods that open along with the launch of the Summer Activity guide in mid-April. Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve processes and better serve our community!

Changes to Cancellation Policy
Updated policy: Minus a $15 per household member processing fee if you cancel at least ten calendar days before the starting date of the class.
EXAMPLE: Now, in the new scenario, we will charge $15 per enrolled person per transaction. That means if a customer is canceling 7 classes for 2 family members, we charge $30. If it’s for 3 family members, it would be $45.
