Spring Break Tennis Camps

The Boise Parks and Recreation Department has added two new Spring Break tennis camps. They will be held March 24-27 at Fort Boise Park tennis courts. Camps are coached by Duane Stotland. Call Fort Boise at (208) 608-7680 to register.

Rallies Camp

This camp for children ages 8-11 is for both beginner and intermediate players ready to play on a slightly larger course. Each class is designed to continue building athletic skills while learning or refining the skills necessary to serve, rally and score. These players will learn an understanding of proper technique and will have some match play. Camp is held from 9:30 a.m. to noon. Cost is $23.50 for Boise residents, $35.88 for non-residents. Hitters Camp

This camp is for ages 12-15 and is held from noon to 2:30 p.m. The goal of the program is to provide an opportunity for intermediate level teenage players to progress their skills in a fun and competitive environment. Players who participate in this camp must have prior experience and aspirations of playing Jr. High and High School tennis. Stroke development, footwork, doubles and singles strategies will all be taught and there will be some match play, letting players develop areas of strength in their game. Cost is $23.50 for Boise residents, $35.88 for non-residents. Activity # 350014-01
