Registration for the Summer Activity Guide will begin at 7 a.m. on April 17 for Boise City Residents and April 19 for non-residents. Class/registration information will be viewable online on Monday, April 10.

Activity registration for Boise residents starts Monday, December 5 and for non-residents on Wednesday, December 7.
Activity Registration will begin online, in-person and over the phone at 7 a.m. on both Monday, December 5 and Wednesday, December 7.
Registration for all Playcamps, Rec ‘Em and Mountain Discovery Camps is now open.
Rec 'Em Camps all have a waitlist as of 11 a.m. on Feb 6.
Cassia, Catalpa, Eagle Rock, Elm Grove, Ivywild and Sunset Playcamps have a waitlist as of Feb 8.

NOTE: Many parents rely on Mountain Discovery and Rec ‘Em camps to supplement summer childcare and want an opportunity to register for them before April for planning purposes.
All other summer camps offered by Boise Parks and Recreation will continue to have registration periods that open along with the launch of the Summer Activity guide in mid-April. Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve processes and better serve our community!

Updated policy: Minus a $15 per household member processing fee if you cancel at least ten calendar days before the starting date of the class.
EXAMPLE: Now, in the new scenario, we will charge $15 per enrolled person per transaction. That means if a customer is canceling 7 classes for 2 family members, we charge $30. If it’s for 3 family members, it would be $45.

Enroll your child in a spring break camp while they are out on school break. Some of the current offerings include golf, mountain biking, art or zoo keeping.
Have a teenager ages 13-17? We offer a variety of programming including art, cooking, environmental education and fitness.
Have a love of the outdoors and wondering what to do with your spare time? Boise Parks and Recreation’s volunteer program will get you out communing with nature and meeting people with similar interests. Beginning in March, volunteers will head out in force to help care for our local parks and open spaces, and we’d like to invite you to be part of the effort.
