Summer Activity Registration

In our efforts to continue to serve you better and more efficiently, Boise Parks and Recreation is combining registration for all summer camps, classes and activities – including our popular Playcamps – into one registration period in April 2024. Mark your calendar as all summer activity registration will start on the following dates:

  • Summer registration for Boise residents starts Monday, April 1 at 7 a.m.
  • Summer registration for non-residents starts Wednesday, April 3 at 7 a.m. 

A full list of summer programs, swimming lessons and camps will be viewable online in mid-March when the new *digital only* Activity Guide is posted on our website here:

Adult Horticulture Series

These classes are FREE, but registration is required. Classes are held at the Downtown Library in the Marion Bingham Room on the 3rd floor (except for the nursery tour).

Outdoor Preschool

Immerse your child in the outdoors (FLC) or garden (BUGS) environment. Preschoolers will explore the surrounding ecosystem, learn through a STEM-based curriculum, and develop cognitive, motor and emotional skills.

One-day adult education, leisure and social programs offer a variety of opportunities to get out and enjoy Boise and the surrounding area. Come with us and explore the hidden gems in Boise and learn more about our great city.
