AdVenture Program

Boise Parks and Recreation's, AdVenture program, meaning Adaptive adVentures, offers recreation, wilderness excursions, fitness programs, sports and social activities to individuals with disabilities, their families and friends.
Mission: AdVenture is committed to providing quality sports, recreation and outdoor adventures for people of all abilities. By taking place in the most integrated setting, the AdVenture program shall promote self-confidence, wellness and physical fitness leading to a more independent lifestyle.
Winter-Spring
Our winter and spring programs include Weekly Adaptive Classes (Art, Cooking, Fitness, Dance, Yoga), Snowshoeing, Tubing at Bogus, Social Clubs, Elk Herd Sleigh Ride, Hockey Games, First Thursday, Bruneau Sand Dunes Trip and much more.
Summer
Our summer programs include Whitewater Rafting, Adaptive Cycling, Baseball Games, Social Clubs, Disc Golf, Rodeo, Idaho City Trip, Camping Trip, Fishing Trips and much more.
Fall
Our fall program include Adaptive Cycling, Social Clubs, Weekly Adaptive Classes (Art, Cooking, Fitness, Dance, Yoga), Dinner and a Movie, Corn Maze, Pumpkin Carving, Holiday Programs and much more.

Hours of OperationAll programs require advance registration. You can register online through our online portal, supported by Rectrac. If you don't have an account, you will need to create one.

Scholarships are available for youth, seniors and adults with disabilities to participate in activities and recreation.
Volunteer and Giving
We are always seeking enthusiastic people who are interested in working with individuals with disabilities in a recreational setting. For the well-being of our participants, we ask that our volunteers be at least 18 years of age or older.
