Transportation

Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from their home and the community center where the program or activity is based. AdVenture staff are not responsible for individuals who are dropped off before the noted meeting time. Some alternative transportation services which operate in the Treasure Valley are listed below. ACCESS

ACCESS is a curb-to-curb transit service for the cities of Boise, Garden City, Nampa and Caldwell. To learn about services in Boise and Garden City or to obtain an application, call (208) 345-1234 to set up a telephone interview (1-800-377-1363, Idaho Relay Service). In Nampa/Caldwell, call (208) 846-8547 ext. 4224.

Valley Regional Transit

Valley Regional Transit (VRT) operates a wide range of transportation options, including the fixed route bus system and ACCESS paratransit service (ADA RIDE). For questions about these programs call (208) 345-7433 or visit their website.

SHIP program

SHIP

Valley Regional Transit and Go Ride are offering a new program called SHIP. SHIP offers FREE rides to people with disabilities and Seniors age 65 and older who live in Ada County. Rides are available Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. You must register in advance and each ride must be reserved two working days in advance.
