Volunteer and Giving Opportunities

In order to keep participation costs to a minimum, we rely on volunteer support. We are always seeking enthusiastic people who are interested in working with individuals with disabilities in a recreational setting. For the well-being of our participants, we ask that our volunteers be at least 18 years of age or older.

Interested in volunteering, please contact us at (208) 608-7681 or via email.

You can also support our AdVenture Program through donations.

ChairHoops Wheelchair Basketball Tournament Fundraiser

March 14-16, 2024

Our ChairHoops fundraiser (a wheelchair basketball tournament) takes place annually. This is a great opportunity for basketball players of all ability levels to test their skills from a wheelchair. You do NOT have to have a disability to play, wheelchairs will be provided.

Wheelchairs are provided and no experience is needed (tournament is divided into a recreation division and a competitive division).

Form a team consisting of up to 10 players and try out this fun sport! All registered players will receive a Chairhoops t-shirt.

Games will be played on Thursday evening at Fort Boise Community Center, on Friday evening at Timberline High School and during the day on Saturday at Timberline High School.

The team registration fee of $160 is due by February 27th, but register early as the tournament fills up.

Call (208) 608-7681 to register or learn more.

This tournament is for fun and volunteers do not need to have any experience, however some basketball knowledge is helpful for refereeing. All volunteers will receive a ChairHoops T-shirt. Our dedicated volunteers are a huge reason why we are able to make this tournament a successful fundraiser year after year.

Volunteers are needed:

  • Thursday, March 14 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Fort Boise Community Center

You can volunteer for all three days or just a few games; any help is greatly appreciated!
