Alta Harris Park Site Improvements
The City of Boise Parks and Recreation Department is constructing frontage improvements along Eckert Road as a part of Phase 1 of Alta Harris Park.
The work is expected to continue through December 2025 and includes the installation of a pedestrian signal crossing, curb, gutter, roadway drainage, trees, sidewalks, utilities, irrigation and two entrances into the future community park. Thank you for your patience and understanding as there may be temporary traffic impacts during construction.
Phase 2 of the park green-up is planned to begin in the summer of 2026 and will include a parking lot, site grading, greenbelt pathway, concrete walks, irrigation, utilities, grading and minor landscaping.
Project completion estimates are subject to change due to volatility in the construction industry. Current challenges include material availability, rising costs, supply chain disruptions, staffing shortages and more. Boise Parks and Recreation will update project timelines as needed if delays occur.
