The Art Center is a state-of-the-art facility offering quality art instruction for youth, teen and adults at an affordable price. Located in Fort Boise Community Center, the 4,500-square-foot Art Center encompasses three studio spaces. More than 200 different classes are offered each year for children age 2 1/2 to seniors.

Professional instructors teach classes in a wide variety of art mediums, including:

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Clay
  • Sculpture
  • Multi-media

The Art Center encourages opportunities for people with disabilities by providing accommodations or specialized classes such as Access to the Arts offered by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department's AdVenture program.

Smoking Prohibition

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in all City of Boise parks, including within 20 feet of the Boise River Greenbelt, except in designated areas within Ann Morrison and Julia Davis Parks and at city-owned golf courses.
