Art Center

Open studio time is included when you enroll in an art class. Come as much as you want at no additional charge. Daily drop-in rates of $11.25 for pottery and $2 for drawing/painting (payable upon arrival at Fort Boise) is available for those who are not enrolled in a class.

Drop-In Activities - Teens

Neighborhood Open Gyms

Supervised open gym play is available for students in grades K-12.  Drop-by and be active with friends and family during the cold winter months. Select gyms are available on weekends from November to March (except for Holiday Break). Open Gym is a service free of charge, provided by a partnership between the Boise Independent School District and Boise Parks and Recreation.  For more information, call (208) 608-7654.

Fort Boise Teen Activity Center

Young people have a place to call their own at Fort Boise Community Center! Our 1,500-square-foot Teen Activity Center includes a game room with pool, table tennis, air hockey, foosball, console-based gaming, or listening to music. A social area is designated as a comfortable place for teens to meet and hang out with their friends. The computer lab features equipment set aside for PC gaming for teens.

Late Night Fridays

Hang out with your friends and have a blast at Late Night Fridays 1st and 3rd Fridays at the Fort Boise Community Center. You can work out, hang out, play games, and learn how to make clay pots - whatever works for you! Play basketball or volleyball, use the Teen Activity Center computer lab, weight room, art classroom, X-Box, PC gaming or just relax with your friends.

All skill levels welcome. Drop in play. Indoor balls and some racquets will be available for use. Please bring racquets if you have your own.
