

As is tradition, a beautiful fireworks display will launch from Ann Morrison Park on the 4th of July.
Join the City of Boise for a special edition of the event as we commemorate 250 years of American history and celebrate America’s future. In addition to the annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration at dusk in Ann Morrison Park, enjoy a free patriotic performance from the Boise Philharmonic to start the evening, followed by a spectacular drone show that will light up the sky over the park.
Enjoy food and drink vendors, cool off in the red, white & blue fountain, plus more. Mark your calendar and make memories with the entire family in beautiful Ann Morrison Park on July 4, 2026!

Location
Ann Morrison Park (1000 S. Americana Blvd, Boise)
Ann Morrison Park will be closed to vehicles all day on Saturday, July 4. Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, use ride-share services or utilize downtown parking options. There is no general parking in Ann Morrison Park all day on the Fourth of July.
- Together Treasure Valley Dog Island will be closed all day on July 4.
- The Ann Morrison Park Disc Golf Course will be closed all day on July 4.
Event Schedule
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. at Ann Morrison Park with food and beverage vendors, family-friendly activities and the park’s interactive fountain illuminated in red, white and blue.
6:00 p.m. Food and drink vendors open for business
7:00 p.m. Last Boise River floater shuttle departs Ann Morrison Park
9:00 p.m. Boise Philharmonic live orchestra concert
10:15 p.m. Patriotic drone light show in Ann Morrison Park
10:30 p.m. Fireworks celebration (Tune in to 107.1 Hank FM to listen to the show’s synced soundtrack live!)
Please note, all event elements are dependent on weather conditions and are subject to change or cancellation. Safety is always our main priority. Any live updates to the schedule will be posted on official Boise Parks and Recreation accounts.
General Parking
General parking is not available in Ann Morrison Park on Saturday, July 4. Security will be at park entrances to divert traffic from coming into the park.
Public parking is free on Independence Day and is available on-street throughout Downtown Boise. Find information about other parking garages and lots here.
Free parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in surrounding parks. Vehicles must be parked legally within Julia Davis Park and Idaho Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park. Towing will be delayed at these locations until 9 a.m. on Sunday, July 5.
Accessible Parking
ADA parking is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for individuals with accessibility placards in two places:
- Ann Morrison Park: Please use the Ann Morrison Drive entrance to park near the softball fields. There are accessible pathways from the parking lot to the center of the park (where most food vendors are located).
- Kathryn Albertson Park: Please use the crosswalk across Americana Blvd. to go between Kathryn Albertson Park and Ann Morrison Park.

Road Closures
Road closures will be in effect around Ann Morrison Park, including portions of Americana Boulevard (where there is ongoing roadwork) and Crescent Rim Drive. Following the event, Boise Police officers will assist with traffic control and pedestrian safety as attendees leave the park.
Ann Morrison Park
- Ann Morrison Park will be closed to vehicles all day on Saturday, July 4.
Kathryn Albertson Park
- Kathryn Albertson Park will be closed to vehicles all day on Saturday, July 4. The parking lot is ADA parking only.
Crescent Rim Dr.
- No parking on Crescent Rim from Latah St. to Capitol Blvd.
- No parking at the Boise Depot.
- Crescent Rim from Latah St. through Eastover Terrace will be closed to traffic starting at 6 p.m.
- Residents with parking passes will be granted access until 9 p.m.
- Boise Police will reopen the road at approximately 11 p.m. after the fireworks show.
Americana Blvd.
- Americana Blvd. from Latah to Shoreline will be closed at 9 p.m.

Food and drink vendors will open at 6 p.m. with concessions available throughout the evening. Drinks and alcoholic beverages are available from Parrilla Grill for those 21 and older.

Know Before You Go
- Safety is our top priority. Please do not try to drive into Ann Morrison Park on Saturday, July 4. Security will be at park entrances all day to divert traffic away.
- No personal fireworks or sparklers are allowed in the park. Anyone found possessing or discharging fireworks of any kind could be prosecuted by the Boise Police Department.
- Drones are not permitted.
- Please leave pets at home.
- Float the Boise shuttle service will operate from noon to 7 p.m., but parking will not be available in Ann Morrison Park. Floaters are encouraged to park at Barber Park and use shuttle services.
- Consider bringing the following items: water, sunscreen, bug spray, and a blanket or chair to sit on.
- Bring a flashlight to facilitate a safe and visible exit from the park after the show. Make a plan with your friends and family for a meeting place.
- Portable restrooms will be placed throughout the park. For safety and security, permanent park restrooms are closed on the Fourth of July.
- No glass bottles or containers are allowed in the park.
- Alcoholic beverages are illegal within 250 feet of the Boise River.
- Smoking and vaping are prohibited in Ann Morrison Park on the Fourth of July.
After the Fireworks
At the conclusion of the fireworks, Americana Blvd. will be closed for approximately 45 minutes to allow pedestrians to exit the park. Officers will assist pedestrians exiting the park and will also be staffing closures at Americana & Shoreline and Americana & Emerald/Latah. Officers will also be in the area of Capitol/University to assist pedestrians crossing Capitol Blvd.
Traffic may be heavily congested as you leave Ann Morrison Park. Please be courteous and careful as you exit.
