C.W. Moore Park Improvements
January 2025 Update
The restroom installation at C.W. Moore Park has been completed and the building will re-open to the public upon completion of the park refresh this summer. The park is being renovated to restore the original site furnishings, repair the plaza surfacing damaged by the trees, install the historic plaques, organize historical elements, repaint the columns and structures, and expand seating along the edge of the plaza.
The park will receive new landscaping including replacing trees which failed last winter. The proposed design will reduce the amount of lawn in the park and expand the planting beds to add to a more inviting and welcoming experience.
The bid for this project was awarded to Idaho Site Works, LLC. Improvements and on site work is estimated to be completed this summer.
This project is funded through a partnership with the Capital City Development Corporation.
Project completion estimates are subject to change due to volatility in the construction industry. Current challenges include material availability, rising costs, supply chain disruptions, staffing shortages and more. Boise Parks and Recreation will update project timelines as needed if delays occur.
