History

John Booth Memorial Park is a triangular area, a tiny oasis near the heart of Downtown Boise of approximately 1.5 acres. It has long been used in a casual way by tourists as a place to stop for lunch, to sleep or to orient themselves with road maps as they entered or left Boise. It was used by local people as a place to gain access to the river for fishing or picnicking. There is currently a bench and landscaping at the park.
