All pools are closed for the 2025 season. Thanks for a great summer!
No matter what your fitness level, swimming is great exercise. Swimming works a variety of muscle groups, as well as providing a cardiovascular workout. When doors are open, please wait until the start time of the Lap Swim Session to check-in or pay.
Due to the popularity of this offering at Boise pools, participants may be asked to follow circle swim etiquette, so everyone has a chance to participate and get a workout in. What is circle swimming? Circle swimming allows more people to swim in a lane at the same time. When circle swimming, all participants swim counterclockwise, always staying on the right side of the lane. Thank you for respecting other swimmers and adhering to this use pattern during lap swim.
All guests will be asked to start exiting the pool five minutes early and are expected to exit the pool deck area by the end time of the Lap Swim Session. Open Swim following Lap Swim is a separate session and guests will need to exit the pool area and pay their admission or re-scan their pass to participate in Open Swim.
All participants must be 16 years of age and older.
One lane may be used for swim lessons for the first half hour of lap swim.
Please note: For guests who utilize the shallow end for therapy purposes, space may be limited due to swim lessons.
