Park Planning

Each year, the Boise Parks and Recreation Department plans for future park improvements and additions as funding is available. Planning a new skate park, skate spot or bike park involves siting considerations, partnerships support and community input. Many moving parts must come together to make the vision a reality, including finding available funding to support the project. There is strong demand for new places to skate, roll, and ride in Boise – and we continue to identify suitable locations for future amenities. Funding, design, and construction are all intricate processes that require careful planning and collaboration. Plus, each location and project is unique!
