PRICE Program

Overview

HUD’s Office of Community Planning and Development awarded $225 million in its Preservation and Reinvestment Initiative for Community Enhancement (PRICE) competition. PRICE provides historic first-time federal grants to support communities in their efforts to maintain, protect, replace, and stabilize manufactured housing and manufactured housing communities.

The City of Boise applied for these competitive funds and was one of seventeen communities selected to receive funds. The City’s award of $6,773,702.72 will be used to increase housing stability and preserve affordability for manufactured housing residents.

HUD approved the City of Boise's PRICE Action Plan on July 1, 2025.

How will the funds be used?

The City of Boise's PRICE Action Plan outlines a series of programs and projects that will significantly increase housing stability, preserve affordability, and support many of the City's most vulnerable and lowest income residents. These activities will ensure that existing residents of manufactured housing communities have resources to make needed accessibility, resilience, and safety improvements to their homes so they can remain stably housed and manufactured housing communities can be preserved to ensure long-term affordability for residents.
