BPD ID Me is a program through the Boise Police Department to obtain tips and information surrounding open investigations in the city.

You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information you provide helps solve a crime or leads to an arrest.

Do not attempt to apprehend any of these people. Call 911 in an emergency. If you witness a crime in progress or are a victim of a crime, call police immediately. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Offense Under Investigation: Commercial Burglary, Grand Theft, Malicious Injury to Property

On June 22, 2026, Boise Police officers responded to a business on the 600 block of E. Boise Avenue for a reported break in and theft. Evidence indicates shortly after 2:30 a.m., a male suspect reportedly used a baton or hammer like object to smash the glass front door. He then entered the business and stole an E-Bike valued at approximately $2600. The suspect was seen getting on the bike and riding west away from the store. The estimated cost to repair the door is more than $1,000.

Offense Under Investigation: Burglary

On June 16, officers took a report of a stolen bike from a garage on W. Sandpiper St. The theft happened the night before, June 15 around 9:15pm, when an unknown male entered the victim's garage and took a bike belonging to his daughter. The male left behind another bike in the victim's yard. The crime was captured on the victim's security cameras and video was turned over to police.

On May 28, 2026, an unknown suspect attempted to use a financial transaction card without the card owner’s knowledge or consent at a store on the 4000 block of W. Overland Rd. On May 17, 2026 around 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a vehicle collision off N Curtis Rd. Prior to officers arriving, one of the vehicles left the scene of the accident. The vehicle, a white Ford F150, was captured on video at an area business.

On May 16, 2026, just before 4:00am, a package theft occurred at a residence off N 20th St. in Boise. An unknown male stole two packages from the victim's front porch. The theft of the packages was captured on the victim's cameras and turned over the police.

On May 5, 2026, around 4:50 am an unknown male subject forced his way into a business off N. Five Mile Rd in Boise. Once inside the business the male stole property and cash. Video of the suspect and crime was captured on security cameras inside the business and turned over to police.

On April 15, a victim contacted Boise Police after being alerted to a possible fraudulent transaction by his financial institution. The victim's credit card number was used to make a large purchase and a retail location off N. Milwaukee St. The victim was still in physical possession the credit card that was used.

Offense Under Investigation: Accident - Failure to Notify

On April 7, 2026 officers were dispatched to an accident in a parking lot near E. Myrtle St. and A Ave. in Boise. Victims reported their vehicle was struck by another vehicle causing minor damage. The driver of the other vehicle, an older model gold Toyota Camry, failed to notify anyone of the accident. Officers were able to work with a nearby business to obtain video of the driver of the Camry.

On March 28, officers were dispatched to separate incidents, the first around 1230am and the second around 730am, of males entering a business of N. Curtis Rd, selecting items, and then leaving the location without payment. The business was able to provide video of both males involved in the thefts.

On March 14, officers were called to the report of a theft from a retail location off N. Milwaukee. Employees reported the day before, March 13 around 4 p.m., a male entered the location, selected items, and exited the store without paying. The store was able to provide video of the theft captured from the store's security cameras.

On Feb 14, 2026 Boise officers responded to a burglary report at a business in the 10000 block of W. Fairview Ave. Upon reviewing video, a subject is observed forcing entry into the building by breaking a window just after 4:00am, taking items, and exiting the business.

Starting November 23, 2025, Boise officers have taken reports from multiple retail locations on a male subject who has entered in the late night or early morning hours and committed thefts, at times entering areas restricted to customers to access items. In one theft, the male was observed leaving the area on a bicycle.
