BPD ID Me is a program through the Boise Police Department to obtain tips and information surrounding open investigations in the city.

You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information you provide helps solve a crime or leads to an arrest.

Do not attempt to apprehend any of these people. Call 911 in an emergency. If you witness a crime in progress or are a victim of a crime, call police immediately. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Photo location: 8000 block of W. Franklin Rd

Offenses under investigation: Accident – Fair to Notify upon striking unattended vehicle(M)

Boise Police are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on July 22nd in a parking lot on the 8000 block of W. Franklin Rd. Evidence indicates the suspect failed to notify upon striking an unattended vehicle.

On August 11th around 3:45 pm, officers responded to the 6000 block of N. Eagle Rd. for a report of an unknown male entering the store and following a female shopper during her entire visit. Officers would like to make contact with the subject pictured here as part of the ongoing investigation.

Offenses under investigation: Burglary/Grand Theft/Possession of Stolen Property


Boise police are investigating vehicle burglaries that occurred at a local high school on March 12th. Evidence indicates the suspects then used the stolen property to commit numerous additional thefts at a nearby store.

Offenses under investigation: Repeated thefts

Boise police are investigating multiple reports of theft at the same location in March and April and are wanting to speak with these persons of interest. After committing the thefts the individuals were seen driving away in a gray colored van-style SUV.

Boise police are investigating after an unidentified man took several packages off a victim's front porch. The male suspect takes the packages and then flees the area in his silver-colored sedan.

Offense under investigation: Video Voyeurism 

Boise police are investigating a report of video voyeurism on November 26th and are wanting to speak with this person of interest. The male was last seen driving away in a small black passenger car with a Transformers “Decepticon” painted on the hood of the car and the hood was secured with bungee cords. The vehicle also had a missing front bumper.

On Dec. 18, 2022, Boise officers responded to the report of a battery at a business in the 100 block of E. Myrtle St. The victim reported as they were exiting the business a male subject unknown to the victim inappropriately touched them. The male rode away on a bicycle. The suspect is described as a while male who was wearing glasses, a beanie, a dark jacket and dark jeans at the time of the incident.

Offense under investigation: Grand Theft

On November 30, officers were called to the report of a grand theft off S. Broadway Ave. in Boise. The victim reported accidentally leaving their credit card on the counter of a business and leaving the store. Upon reviewing video to locate the card, a male was observed taking the victim’s card from the counter and exiting the store. The male drove away from the business in a gray convertible.

The pictured male has been connected to multiple retail thefts at Boise area retail locations. He has also been observed in the stores with a female subject. Boise Police are asking for your help to attempt to identify.

Offense under investigation: Grand Theft

On November 22, Boise officers responded to the report of a luggage theft at the Boise Airport. The victim reported his bag was missing but the airline had scanned the bag when it was unloaded from the plane in Boise. Officers were able to review video to observe a black male adult removing the victim's bag from the luggage carousel, meet up with another male wearing a red LA Dodgers hat and exit the airport.

On Nov. 6, a male subject was caught on video cutting the lock of a mountain bike.

On October 26 at 12 p.m., the victim discovered their bike was missing from where they had left it locked the day prior. Officers were able to review video in the area to find the bike being stolen by the pictured male.

Offense under investigation: Vandalism

Boise Police Officers are investigating a vandalism at Capital High School on W. Goddard Rd that caused thousands of dollars in damage to the softball and football fields. On Friday, September 16th at approximately 11:15 PM, two vehicles entered the Capital High School parking lot and drove recklessly through the fields. Capital High School says the football field is unplayable and their practices and games will have to be rescheduled.

One of the suspect vehicles is described as a dark-colored Chevrolet Avalanche or Honda Ridgeline. The second vehicle looks to be a light-colored, late 90s model sedan.

On July 29 around 8pm a driver and a bicyclist were in an altercation that is under investigation. The cyclist was riding a blue colored Gary Fischer mountain bike with purple pedals and wore a white colored bike helmet with the letters "DOC" in black on the helmet.

Offense under investigation: Robbery

BPD is looking for this suspect after a bank robbery.  A preliminary report describes the suspect as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5'8”.  Photos from one surveillance camera show the suspect walking into the bank with a face covering before demanding money from employees. Witnesses believed the suspect was armed. Photos from a second camera show the suspect without a hat on running away from the scene.

BPD Report Number: 2022-210788

Photo Date: Between 11:30 pm on July 2nd and 12:24 am on July 3rd

Offense under investigation: Arson

Do you have any information to share? Sometime between 11:30 pm on July 2rd and 12:24 am on July 3rd an unknown male suspect started a vehicle fire on the 600 block of N. 9th St. Evidence indicates the suspect stuffed material into the gas funnel and ignited it, causing about $4,000 in damages. A witness in the area saw a male subject walking away from the truck while striking a lighter in his hand, which can be seen in the surveillance photo. Upon further investigation, it does not appear that the suspect is known to the victims.

Do you recognize this truck? On May 23rd around 10:40 pm officers responded to this hit and run on 34th and State. The victim on the motorcycle sustained significant injuries as a result of the crash.

Offense under investigation: Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm into a Dwelling

Boise Police is investigating after someone fired a bullet through the window of a business on the 9100 block of West Fairview Avenue. No one was in the building at the time. An investigation shows the shot was likely fired around 3:45 am on 5/15/2022. The bullet went through the window and hit a wall inside the building. Nearby surveillance video shows a white car, possibly a sedan, traveling west on Fairview at the time. In the video you can hear what sounds like a gun shot. Detectives ask anyone else with surveillance video in the area of Fairview between Maple Grove and Five Mile to check for video of vehicles or suspicious activity around 3:45am on 5/15/2022.

Offense under investigation: Residential Burglary

On April 9 at 8pm, officers responded to a report of an attempted break in at a home off W. Granger St. in Boise. The victim stated he heard someone knock on the front door, shortly followed by a crash. Going to the back door, the victim observed someone attempting to break into the residence. Upon seeing the victim, the person ran from the backyard along with another male. The victim was able to use their cell phone to record the male attempting to break in.

Offense under investigation: Leaving the Scene of an Accident

On April 7 an accident occurred in a parking lot in the 1600 block of S. Vista Ave. Instead of stopping and exchanging information, the driver of a silver SUV involved in the incident left the scene. Pictures of the of the female and her vehicle were obtained from area businesses.

On 4/3/22, a black Honda struck a building in the 7800 block of W. Fairview Ave. The driver failed to stop and notify anyone of the damages. The business was able to provide video and images of the vehicle involved to responding officers.
