Crime Stoppers

BPD ID Me is a program through the Boise Police Department to obtain tips and information surrounding open investigations in the city.

You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information you provide helps solve a crime or leads to an arrest.

Do not attempt to apprehend any of these people. Call 911 in an emergency. If you witness a crime in progress or are a victim of a crime, call police immediately. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

BPD Report Number: 2022-205607

Photo Date: April 9, 2022

Offense under investigation: Residential Burglary

On April 9 at 8pm, officers responded to a report of an attempted break in at a home off W. Granger St. in Boise. The victim stated he heard someone knock on the front door, shortly followed by a crash. Going to the back door, the victim observed someone attempting to break into the residence. Upon seeing the victim, the person ran from the backyard along with another male. The victim was able to use their cell phone to record the male attempting to break in.

Offense under investigation: Leaving the Scene of an Accident

On April 7 an accident occurred in a parking lot in the 1600 block of S. Vista Ave. Instead of stopping and exchanging information, the driver of a silver SUV involved in the incident left the scene. Pictures of the of the female and her vehicle were obtained from area businesses.

Offense under investigation: Accident – Failure to Notify

On 4/3/22, a black Honda struck a building in the 7800 block of W. Fairview Ave. The driver failed to stop and notify anyone of the damages. The business was able to provide video and images of the vehicle involved to responding officers.

On 3/16/22 a victim had their wallet and other personal property stolen from their vehicle. In the early morning on 3/17/22, the victim’s credit card was used to make a purchase at a business on S. Capitol Blvd. The male using the card and his vehicle were captured on video at the business.

On March 3, an unknown individual stole a bike from the garage of an apartment complex on Royal Blvd. The subject can be seen entering the garage with a pair of bolt cutters sticking out of his backpack.

Boise Police are investigating after two individuals broken into a building and storage containers at a business off W. Airport Way. Images of the suspects were captured on video in the area.

Offense under investigation: Grand Theft

Officers took a report from a victim who had their luggage stolen from the baggage carousel at the airport. The victim reported missing a flight back to Boise, but their bag arrived before they returned as it was check in and loaded on the missed flight. When they arrived in Boise, the missing bag could not be located. Officers were able to obtain images of a female taking the victims bag and leaving the airport. Inside the airport garage, the female gets into an older white SUV similar to a Chevy Blazer and exits the airport property.

On January 23 in the early morning hours, a catalytic converter was cut of a vehicle at a business in the 2700 block of S. Liberty St. Officers were able to obtain pictures of a possible vehicle being driven by the suspects in this crime.

On December 19, an unknown female removed the victim’s wallet and phone from her purse while shopping. A female subject was captured on video with the victim’s phone. Officers ask for your help in identifying the unknown female.

Offense under investigation: Residential Burglary

On December 12, officers responded to the report of a residential burglary in the 2600 block of W. Fairview Ave. A large amount of cash and jewelry was taken in the theft. Officers were able to obtain video of a female involved in the theft and an associated vehicle.

On Dec 7, a victim’s wallet was stolen while at a business in the 5700 block of W. Overland Rd. The victim’s credit cards were attempted to be used at a business off Vista Ave. Officers were able to obtain images of the female suspect and her vehicle.

Video Location: 2200 block of W Fairview Ave

Video Date: 10-16-2021 about 9:20 pm.

Offense under investigation: Aggravated Battery

After following up on several leads, Boise Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect in an aggravated battery. The suspect assaulted a man leaving him with severe injuries. The victim and the suspect were previously unknown to each other.

Offense under investigation: Petit Theft Boise.

The theft was captured on the victim’s video doorbell. Video shows a male walking by the address when he spots the package on the doorstep. He reaches down to grab the package when he notices the video doorbell. He leaves, only to reappear second later with his face covered and takes the package.

On Sept 25, 2021 four unknown males entered an apartment building and were involved in causing significant damage to a victim’s apartment. The estimated replacement costs exceeded $1,000 making this crime a felony. The subjects were captured on security cameras during the incident and this image shows the primary suspect.

On May 19, a victim off W. Rim St. reported their vehicle which was parked in their driveway was entered by an unknow subject at approximately 130am. The suspect, who was caught on the victim’s security camera, was a male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants with a reflective strip on the legs. He was also seen walking with another subject.

On May 24 an unknown subject entered the victim’s vehicle which was parked in front of their residence in the 5600 block of W. Dorian Lane. Items were taken from the vehicle including cash, ID cards, and financial cards. That same morning the victim’s credit card was used to make purchases at business off W. Overland Rd. where images of the subject were obtained.

On May 9 around 6am two male subjects went onto a property in the 5200 block of W. Fairview Ave. and painted graffiti on the victim’s building. Both subjects, who were captured on video in the parking lot, were wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirt with unknown logos on them.

A victim dropped their wallet while exiting a retailer in the 10000 block of W Ustick Rd in Boise on April 12. Upon video review by the store, a male subject was observed picking up the wallet and leaving with it. The wallet contained the victim’s identification cards, financial cards, and cash.

On April 12 a victim reported to officers the theft of an item of décor from their front porch. The victim’s doorbell camera captured video of a female subject wearing a green letterman’s type jacket with white sleeves take the item around 4am.

On April 15 an unidentified suspect stole a bike from the 2400 block of W. Fairview Ave, using a pair of bolt cutters to cut the victim’s cable lock securing their bike. Video was obtained of the suspect who was wearing a blue Boise State hoodie and dark athletic pants.
