BPD ID Me is a program through the Boise Police Department to obtain tips and information surrounding open investigations in the city.

You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information you provide helps solve a crime or leads to an arrest.

Do not attempt to apprehend any of these people. Call 911 in an emergency. If you witness a crime in progress or are a victim of a crime, call police immediately. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Boise Police are asking for help identifying this suspect who used a victim's credit card to make a purchase. The victim reported their account was compromised when they were contacted by someone posing to be with their bank, informing them of fraudulent charges in another state.

Boise Police are asking for help in identifying this suspect who defaced another person’s vehicle while it was parked at a local restaurant. The vehicle’s cameras captured the entire incident, which the victim was able to provide to investigators.

Boise Police are asking for help in identifying this suspect who struck a minor in the face, causing injury. The incident occurred on April 12, 2025, shortly after 6 pm at the Boise Towne Square Mall.

Offense Under Investigation: Petit Theft

On April 9 a victim contacted police after discovering a large sum of money had been stolen from their wallet. The victim dropped their wallet as they were leaving a business on W. Overland Rd. in Boise. Video obtained from the business shows a male picking up the wallet, removing cash, and then discarding the wallet. The wallet was later turned into the business, who contacted the owner.

Offense Under Investigation: Grand Theft

A victim reported their credit card was taken while shopping near N. Milwaukee St and W. Emerald St. on Saturday, February 15 between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. The victim's card was used to make purchases in the same area. Video was obtained from businesses to show a male subject using the victim's card. The male was driving a white double cab truck.

On March 2, 2025 just after 1:00 a.m., an unknown male subject caused damage inside a parking garage in downtown Boise. The incident was captured on video and later reported to officers.

Offense Under Investigation: Petit Theft

On February 10, 2025 officers responded to a theft report at a business in the 10000 block of W. Fairview Ave. Employees reported a male subject distracted a store clerk to take two items from a locked display case, leaving the store without paying for the items. The store was able to provide officers with CCTV of the male subject.

Offense Under Investigation: Commercial Burglary

On January 13, just after 7pm, officers were dispatched to the report of theft from a business on N. 8th St. A business reported an unknown male subject entered an employee area of the business, stealing multiple employee belongings including debit and credit cards. The business was able to provide video of the male suspect to officers.

Offense Under Investigation: Felony - Fraudulent Use of a Financial Transaction Card

On Dec 20 while shopping, a victim received a bank alert that purchases were being made with their credit card at another retail location. At that time, the victim realized their wallet was missing. Officers were able to obtain video of a male subject using the victim's card to make large purchases at stores located on N. Milwaukee St.

On Dec 14, a citizen reported a package was stolen from their door step shortly after it was delivered. Their doorbell camera was able to catch a male subject taking the package and leaving the area.

On December 17, a resident living off W. Mesa Grande Ln. reported Christmas decorations were stolen from the front of their home just before 4am by two male subjects. The theft was captured on the victim's home surveillance system and turned over to officers.

On Oct. 13 officers were dispatched to a report of stolen political signs near the intersection of Cole Rd and Overland Rd. The signs were taken on October 13 around 6:40pm. Video was available of a female suspect wearing a white jacket, pants, and gloves taking the signs.

Offense Under Investigation: Commercial Burglary

The pictured individuals entered a locked business in the early morning hours and stole several items and cash. In addition to the other property taken, the suspects took the computer system they believed held the recorded surveillance video. What is shown here is their failure to cover their tracks. Both suspects drove these vehicles and participated in the theft.

Offense Under Investigation: Discharge of a Firearm In City Limits

On Sept. 20 just before 11:30pm, officers were dispatched to a report of shots fired near the intersection of 9th and Capitol. Upon investigation, officers were able to determine an individual fired a shot into the air before leaving the area. Video was obtained of a male who was present when the shot was fired and may have additional information about the incident.

On Sept, 13, officers took a report from a business in the 8100 block of W. Franklin Rd. On Sept 10 just after 3am a male subject driving a dark grey Honda with an Ada County license plate used a tool to break into a dispenser on the property. The male removed the money from inside the machine and left the scene.

Offense Under Investigation: Grand Theft Auto

Between the evening of August 16th and morning of August 17th, an unknown suspect stole a truck, trailer, and UTV from outside of a residence on the 9000 block of W. Maple Hill Dr. The UTV was recently located on the 9000 block of W. Pinedale Drive, but police are still working to locate the truck pictured here and stolen trailer. The truck is a 2015 silver Ford 350 with paintings of Elk across the back and tailgate, a silver toolbox across the bed and at the time of theft had the Idaho license plate 1AX786T. The trailer is a 2019 Karavan Trailer with the Idaho license plate ZGC962.

In early July, a victim reported finding unauthorized charges on their debit card statement from a business in the 1000 block of S. Broadway Ave. that occurred on June 10, 2024. The victim claimed they were still in possession of the card. Working with the business, officers were able to obtain images of a male subject using the card.

Offense Under Investigation: Battery

On March 29, 2024, Boise Police officers responded to a report of a fight as a crowd of people exited the arena on the 200 block of S. Capitol Blvd. Officers quickly located a victim suffering from multiple injuries and began an investigation. The victim went to a local hospital and was treated and released for serious but not life-threatening injuries. As part of the investigation, detectives would like to identify and speak with the person shown in the attached photo.

On April 16, officers took a report of a purse theft on W. Overland Rd. in Boise. The victim claimed they accidentally left their purse behind at the location. After quickly realizing this, they returned but were unable to find the purse. Working with security, cameras were reviewed to find a male subject taking the purse and leaving. Pictures were obtained of the male and his vehicle.

On March 26, officers took a report of a stolen vehicle from an apartment complex parking lot off W. Grand Ave in Boise. Reviewing video from the area, just before 11:00pm on March 25, a male subject was seen entering the parking lot and attempting to enter vehicles. The male is captured on video entering the victim's vehicle and driving out of the lot. The vehicle has since been recovered.

On April 2, 2024, officer took a report from an antique retailer in the 4700 block of W. State St. of a male who they had video stealing cast iron skillets on the two days prior. Store employees recognized the man from prior thefts. Video was obtained from the business of the male stealing the items from the store. On one of the dates the male had a school aged female with him.

On March 22, 2024, a victim reported their debit card was used at a business in the 10000 block of W. Fairview Ave. for multiple transactions on March 16 and 17. Upon investigation by officers, the suspect in the case is associated with similar transactions in the area.

On March 15 and 16, an unknown male made multiple purchases and withdrawals with the victim's debit card, which was still in their possession. On Mar 17, the victim noticed the charges and reported to police. Video of a male subject using the victim's card to withdraw money at an ATM was obtained.

On March 26, a victim parked their E-bike outside a retailer off N. Cole. Rd in Boise. While inside the location an unknown male took the bike and rode off the property. Video of the male and the incident was captured on cameras at the business.

Offense under investigation: Burglary/ Grand Theft

BPD is looking for individuals who are related to or have knowledge of commercial burglaries, where cases of lottery tickets were stolen from liquor stores. The tickets were later redeemed at various local businesses. These photographs were taken from surveillance cameras when the suspects were cashing in the winners. At least one of the suspects was driving a white 2010-2013 Mazda 3 with a sunroof.
