Cut or saw tree branches, stumps, and limbs to fit inside your compost cart so that the lid can fully close. If you fill your cart, you can bundle branches and limbs with twine or other natural fiber so that each bundle is no longer than 4 feet in length and weighs less than 60 pounds. Place up to 10 bundles next to your compost cart on your regular collection day and they will be picked up.
Reduce and Reuse
If you have leftover tree stumps or chunks of wood in usable condition, consider gifting to someone who might want to use them for craft projects through your local Buy Nothing group.
