Fats, oils and grease must go in the trash. You can use a plastic jug or jar to contain them. Do not pour them down a drain or place them in the compost.

Reduce and Reuse
Use less fats, oils, and greases while cooking (grill, roast, or lightly sauté instead of deep frying, replace oil with small amounts of water or stock, and measure fats instead of free pouring them).
Cool, strain, and save leftover fats, oil, and greases in reusable containers and reuse in recipes to add flavor.
Buy only what you need to limit excess that will become waste.
