Books

Paperback books can be recycled in the loose recycling cart. Hardback books must have the hardcovers and binding removed in order to be recycled. If the hardcovers and the binding are still attached, they must be placed in the trash.

Reduce and Reuse

Check out books from the library instead of purchasing. Or, visit your local used book store to buy used instead of new books.

Consider donating to the Friends of the Boise Public Library or a local thrift store, selling on an online marketplace, or gifting the item through your local Buy Nothing group.
