Any wrapping paper or bows with foil or glitter cannot be recycled and needs to be put in your trash cart. If you can, reuse the paper.
Buy only what you need and look for other wrapping options (such as newspaper or fabric).
If the item is still in usable condition, consider donating to a local thrift store, selling on an online marketplace, or gifting the item through your local Buy Nothing group.
