Yard signs and political signs typically belong in the trash, depending on the materials they are made from.
- Laminated cardboard must be thrown away as it's a mixed material
- Plastic film stretched between spokes of the steel stakes must be thrown away
- Corrugated plastic labeled #5 can be placed in the Hefty® ReNew™ orange bag or thrown in the trash
Reduce and Reuse
Reuse the sign by writing a new message on the board to promote special events (such as a yard sale). Or, keep the wire stands and save for future signs.
