On June 3rd, the City of Boise will host two screenings of "Unless Something Goes Terribly Wrong," a light-hearted documentary that shines a long overdue spotlight on the people who keep essential public infrastructure running and the systems they work tirelessly to maintain each day. The film offers a meaningful way to raise awareness about our work while also celebrating the expertise, dedication, and occasional humor that define our profession.
You can now reserve your seat(s) for both screenings, at 2:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. We ask that you please reserve as soon as possible so we can ensure a seat for everyone who wants to attend.
2:00 p.m.
- The 2:00 p.m. showing is free and reserved for Boise Public Works staff and community leaders, as well as water renewal staff from throughout the area.
- I encourage you to invite your family to the free 2:00 p.m. showing. Anyone who will occupy their own seat needs a ticket (if you have a child who will sit on your lap, they don’t need a ticket).
6:30 p.m.
- If you choose to attend the 6:30 p.m. public showing, please select a Student GA (free) ticket. Your employee ID will serve as your admission.
- Feel free to invite your family to the 6:30 p.m. showing if that time works better. Select a Student GA (free) ticket for each family member. Again, anyone who will occupy their own seat needs a ticket (if you have a child who will sit on your lap, they don’t need a ticket).
Reserve your ticket(s) by selecting one of the showtimes below.
Please be aware that the film includes strong language and industry humor.
For staff who cannot attend on June 3rd, we are working on getting access to the film so that you can watch it at another time. Please reach out to Erika Harmon for more information.
