All Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) mobile collection sites are open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at least one day per month throughout the year. These free, drive-thru collection events allow residents to safely dispose of household hazardous waste, helping keep hazardous materials out of the landfill.
HHW mobile collection sites are available to residents only. Do NOT leave items at a site when a collection vehicle is not present, as it creates hazardous conditions and violates Boise City Code.
Residents may also bring HHW materials to the Ada County Landfill HHW Facility free of charge every Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
All HHW locations are CLOSED on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
For additional details about collection site rules and accepted materials, please visit the HHW main page.
How to read the HHW schedule: HHW mobile collection sites follow a pattern based on the occurrence of each weekday within the month. For example, the first Tuesday of each month is at Fire Station #10, while the fourth Tuesday is at the Albertsons on Vista Avenue.
