Organic Waste Recycling for Businesses and Apartments

The City of Boise encourages recycling of organic waste from businesses and multi-family residential properties. Organic waste refers to biodegradable, compostable waste such as food scraps and yard trimmings. Service providers large or small can register to collect and transport organic waste as a Commercial Organic Waste Service Provider with the City of Boise.

Please note this program is only for businesses and multi-family residential properties. Looking for information about Boise’s residential compost program? Visit the Compost page.
