Unique Volunteer Program

Are you the person that’s constantly correcting your family when they misplace an item in the recycling, or who wonders how the city’s compost gets made? Are you someone who never misses an opportunity to tell people about the reusable straw and silverware that you always carry ‘just in case’? If so… we’ve got the volunteer program for you. Apply now to be a part of the Curb It Pros.

Curb It Pros will be trained by a City of Boise team in all things recycling, compost and waste reduction. They’ll get special behind-the-scenes tours and trips to all the locations and processes that make our system work. They’ll be their community expert and host events for colleagues, friends and neighbors to learn more.

If you are someone that’s passionate about recycling, compost, waste reduction, and seeking an opportunity to make an impact in our community, apply now!

This year, 20 new Curb It Pros will be selected. You do not need to be an expert already in any of the topics to apply! Applicants will be selected based on a diversity of experience, community connections, and based on your passion and excitement for the program.

Applications are now closed. Applicants will be notified about selection by email in the next few weeks
