Commercial Water Renewal (Sewer) Rates - Bench Customers (effective December 1, 2019)

In 2014, Bench Sewer District consolidated operations with the city of Boise. Per the Bench Sewer District merger agreement, rates for former Bench customers are gradually merging with Boise rates over a five-year period and will be equal starting December 1, 2019. This is the end of the five-year period.

The rate per CCF and the base fee will increase every year of that process until the billing is equal to a city commercial customer in the same waste category.

*The sewer rate for former Bench Sewer District customers is lower than the rate for City of Boise commercial customers because the merger agreement signed in 2014 designated the rates to gradually rise over a five-year period until the rates are equal to a city commercial customer in the same waste category. Starting December 1, 2019, the rates for former Bench Sewer District and other City of Boise customers are the same.
