Existing Customers

The water renewal (sewer) usage charge is based on winter water use (October - April). Water used during the winter is the best indicator of sewer usage because no outside watering takes place during the winter months. Water use data is provided by Veolia, which meters water use to most Boise City customers. Usage is calculated in hundreds of cubic feet (CCF). One CFF is equal to 748 gallons.

New Customers

Winter water use is estimated based on the number of occupants at the service location. Usage is pro-rated to the day so CCF under the usage column of your bill will vary each bill depending on the number of days in the billing cycle.

Customers Served by a Well

Winter water use is estimated based on the number of occupants at the service location. The default occupancy in the absence of customer information is four persons. Usage is pro-rated to the day so CCF under the usage column of your bill will vary each bill depending on the number of days in the billing cycle.
