Utility Billing Appointments

Visit us in-person at Boise City Hall to manage your billing for water renewal, trash,
recycling, compost, pressure irrigation and geothermal. Schedule online to guarantee your
appointment time and avoid waiting in line.

Monday – Wednesday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Thursday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. by appointment only

Rate Increase Information

Below are the utility bill rate increases for fiscal year 2027, which begins October 1, 2026. Rate percentages are an average for all customers, for individual rate changes, please see fee changes in the FY2027 Adopted Budget.

  • The average rate increase for water renewal (sewer) bills is 9.9% for all customers.
  • The average rate increase for residential solid waste bills is 9% for all customers.
  • The average rate increase for commercial solid waste bills is 6% for all customers.
  • The average rate increase for commercial recycling bills is 7% for all customers.
  • The average rate increase for geothermal bills is 4.9% for all customers.
  • The average rate increase for municipal irrigation customers is 4% for all pressurized customers and 21% for all gravity lateral customers.






How to Schedule or Modify Your Appointment

How to Schedule an Appointment

  1. After clicking on the “Schedule Appointment” button, you’ll be taken to a Microsoft
    Bookings page that includes a calendar and list of available times.
  2. Select a date on the calendar to see available appointment times.
  3. Pick a time for your appointment from the available options.
  4. After picking your date and time, enter your name, email, address and phone
    number. Optionally, you can add your account number and the purpose of your
    request to help staff prepare for your appointment.
  5. Check the box at the bottom, which allows the city to contact you if the
    appointment needs to be moved or cancelled.
  6. Click the “book” button.
  7. Once the appointment is confirmed, you’ll get an email confirmation message.



Modifying Your Appointment

  1. You can modify your appointment by clicking the “Reschedule” button in the
    confirmation email you received.
  2. After clicking the “Reschedule” button, you’ll be taken to a meeting confirmation
    page. Here you can click either “Reschedule” or “Cancel booking”.
  3. Reschedule: Select another date and time for your appointment. After you’ve
    selected a new appointment time, click the “Update booking” button. A new
    confirmation email will be sent to you.
  4. Cancel Appointment: Click “Cancel booking” to cancel the appointment. A
    cancellation confirmation will be sent to your email.
