Arts & History Commission Meeting

The Arts & History Commission meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m., in the Greenbelt room on the third floor at Boise City Hall. Note that times, dates and location are subject to change. All public meetings are held in a hybrid format allowing both virtual and in-person attendance.

  • Participate Virtually (Zoom)

This meeting will be conducted virtually via Zoom. While this meeting is open to the public, we will not be receiving public comment.

  • Attend at City Hall 

This meeting location is accessible for those with physical disabilities. About the Arts & History Commission

With up to seven voting members, including one student, the Arts & History Commission ensures the integrity of the public process by being transparent in decision-making and by affirming equity and inclusion goals through recognition of Boise’s diverse community; reviews and approves Arts & History policies, goals, and programs, and recommends support to Mayor and City Council; promotes Arts & History-related events and programs to the community; supports Arts & History staff in the planning processes and reviews Commission roles annually. The Commission focuses on agendas, policy recommendations, and committee work on actions supporting these objectives. The Commission complements the work of Arts & History staff.
