Adaptive Rec Overnight Camping Trip

Relaxed campers are invited to join us at beautiful Payette Lake for an outdoor vacation. Activity level is moderate; we will take short hikes in the nearby wilderness. All campers must be able to get in and out of a tent independently and enjoy being in the great outdoors. You will experience lakeside tent camping, games, campfire cooking and relaxing in a gorgeous location. The package includes all meals, transportation to and from the campground and Fort Boise Community Center, and camping. A packing list is available upon registration and sleeping bags may be rented for $10.

Boise Parks and Recreation’s AdVenture program provides a wide range of programs for youth and adults with disabilities. We also offer inclusion services in which modifications may be provided so that an individual with a disability can fully participate in any of Boise Parks and Recreation’s programs. Services, such as sign language interpreters, additional staff, adaptive equipment, etc. may be provided with at least two weeks advanced notice of the program start date with no cost to the participant.
