Marianne Williams Park Tour
October 9, 2019 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Once the home of Barber Mill, a large scale lumber operation, Marianne Williams Park is one of 10 riverfront parks that Boiseans affectionately refer to as the Ribbon of Jewels. Donated in 2005 by Larry Williams in honor of his wife Marianne, this 72 acre park features grassy open areas, paved walkways, an extension of the Boise River Greenbelt, ponds, and an expansive view of the Boise Foothills.
This roughly mile long tour will touch base on the history of the land on which the park sits, how the park came to be, the various features that make up the park, and how the park enhances wildlife habitat.
Space is limited and preregistration is required.
