Alzheimer’s education series

January 16, 2020 3:03 a.m.

According to the National Institute on Aging, Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia in older adults. “It is a progressive brain disorder that slowly destroys memory and thinking skills. It is not a normal part of aging.”

To further our understanding of the disease, how it affects the brain, and ways we can minimize our chances of developing Alzheimer’s disease, the Senior Center will share the documentary series “Alzheimer’s: The Science of Prevention” beginning this month.

Join us to watch two 30-minute episodes on the following Mondays: Jan. 27, 1-2 p.m.; Feb. 3, 1-2 p.m.; Feb. 10, 1-2 p.m.; Feb. 24, 1-2 p.m.
