“A tale of two viruses: coronavirus and influenza” offered by CDC

March 4, 2020 10:00 a.m.

Join us March 4 beginning at 10 a.m. to learn about two viruses that are of concern to people in the United States and beyond.

We have invited Dr. Eileen Dunne, who works for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer and is assigned to the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare. She will present on the science and public health response for these two important viruses.

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is caused by a novel coronavirus that emerged in 2019 in Wuhan, China, and has quickly spread throughout China and to many other countries. Meanwhile, seasonal influenza returns every year and affects millions of Americans. Everyone is invited to this free program and there is no need to register.
