Primrose Park Groundbreaking

Join Mayor Lauren McLean, the Boise City Council and city staff as we break ground at Primrose Park in Northwest Boise.

Primrose Park is a 1.5-acre park that will be fully developed in 2024. Park amenities include an open play area, picnic shelter, ADA van accessible parking, drinking fountain, seating, a playground with accessible elements, an outdoor gym, shade trees, walking paths and pollinator garden.

Equipment staging and site preparation is expected to begin in the coming weeks, with the majority of construction taking place after January 1, 2024. Primrose Park’s perimeter will be fenced off during construction. The estimated date of the park’s completion is winter 2024.

Project completion estimates are subject to change due to volatility in the construction industry. Current challenges include material availability, rising costs, supply chain disruptions, staffing shortages and more. Boise Parks and Recreation will update project timelines as needed if delays occur.
