Charles F. McDevitt Youth Sports Complex Groundbreaking

Join City of Boise leaders and neighborhood representatives as we celebrate the start of construction on new park features at Charles F. McDevitt Youth Sports Complex in West Boise. This $1.2 million investment includes new concrete pathways providing a loop walk along the park perimeter. It also includes construction of a nature playground, single track bike trails, a bike pump track with skate features, a basketball court, new trees, and native and perennial plantings in the 10-acre undeveloped area of the park. A new fenced dog off-leash area is also planned.

Following short remarks, attendees will participate in a golden shovel ceremony.

The new park features at Charles F. McDevitt Youth Sports Complex are expected to open in 2026.
