Exploring Ethnic Boise in the Downtown and East End Neighborhoods

May 4, 2019
9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

The Energize Our Neighborhoods Exploring Boise's Boundaries Neighborhood tour series provides participants with a chance to learn about the history of each area, explore public art and cultural sites, understand development trends, and hear from stakeholders in the area as we explore Boise’s unique neighborhoods.

Participants will learn from subject-matter expert tour guides from the City of Boise’s Arts and History and Planning and Development Services Departments, as well as having an opportunity to ask questions and take a deep dive into each area during the tour.

This bike tour will explore Ethnic Boise in the Downtown and East End Neighborhoods. It will begin and end at Municipal Park. Participants may choose to ride their own bike or reserve a Green Bike prior to the tour. All participants will be asked to sign a waiver before starting the tour and are advised to bring a helmet, water bottle, and wear appropriate clothing for a bike ride.

The City of Boise encourages persons with disabilities and those who require language assistance to participate in its programs and activities. If you anticipate needing an accommodation, please call (208) 570-6834 or send an email, as soon as possible, but no later than 72 hours before the event.
