The Boise City Council, on August 20, will receive an update on the Main Library Campus project and hold a public hearing on a proposed special election on the project in November.
The staff presentation on the library project’s current status will be given during the city council’s 3 p.m. work session. A number of topics around the planning of the project will be part of the discussion, including:
- Schematic design
- Environmental impact
- Public input
- Project cost
The public hearing on the proposed November special election on the project will be held during the council’s regular 6 p.m. meeting that evening.
As with all public hearings before the city council, those who wish to speak will be given three minutes for their testimony. Sign-up sheets for testifying will be available just outside of the city council chambers before the meeting and speakers will be called upon in the order in which they sign up.

Both meetings will take place in the Maryanne Jordan City Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of Boise City Hall (150 N. Capitol Blvd., Boise). More information can be found on the here.
