BOISE – Come join the City of Boise as we wrap up the 2026 First Thursday Under the Tree series with a free concert by Red Light Challenge. This month’s First Thursday will take place from 5-7 p.m. on Sept. 3, at Cherie Buckner Webb Park.
This year, First Thursday on the Plaza became First Thursday Under the Tree as it joined in the America 250 celebrations, presenting a different theme each month. September's theme, "We the People," celebrates our unique Boise community and the work being done every day to make Boise a city for everyone.
Enjoy the park and chat with partner organizations and city departments, get a snow cone from Slay the Snow, play with some furry friends, and revel in the music by Red Light Challenge, which won the 2026 Battle of the Bands at JUMP.
