City of Boise Invites Residents to Participate in Community Discussions on Housing

October 7, 2021

Housing affordability remains top of mind for residents across our city, and the City of Boise is committed to providing a place to live for everyone who chooses to call Boise home. We know that too many Boiseans are struggling to stay in their homes, while others are unable to find a home within their budget. And, while we’ve been focused on investing funds into our community through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, American Rescue Plan funding and the Campaign to End Family Homelessness, we know that there is more to be done.

Over the coming months, City of Boise staff will engage with the community – both in person, when safe to do so, and virtually – to talk with residents and hear first-hand the impacts of housing affordability on them, their families, and their neighbors. Together, we will brainstorm ideas and explore innovative solutions to address the housing crisis head-on.
