Clerk’s Office Continues to Provide Services Amid Staffing Issues

January 18, 2022

The City of Boise Clerk’s Office will continue to provide services while dealing with staff shortages. The office will be closed temporarily for walk-ins Wednesday, January 19 through Friday, January 21. All virtual services will still be available.

“Our office remains committed to serving the people of Boise. That service is just going to look a little different for the next few days,” said Deputy City Clerk Jamie Heinzerling. “We’re asking that Boiseans are patient as we work through the staffing issues that so many organizations are dealing with right now.”

Some time-sensitive services such as finger printing and background checks will be available by appointment. Email cityclerk@cityofboise.org or call 208-972-8150 to set up a time.

All other services can be completed online by visiting cityofboise.org or calling 208-972-8150. The City Clerk’s team will continue to process applications and licenses during this period.

We anticipate walk in services to resume Monday, January 24, depending on staffing.

Also, one branch of the Boise Public Library has adjusted its hours to close earlier today, January 18 and tomorrow, January 19. The Library! at Cole & Ustick will be closing at 6 p.m. for the next two days but is expected to return to normal hours after that.
