MESSAGE FROM THE MAYOR

Hello Boise, and Happy Treefort!

Treefort Music Fest has become an iconic event for our community, bringing over 500 bands to 39 venues throughout downtown Boise. It’s an event I always look forward to as it brings us together, fosters our spirit of innovation and shows off the city we love. Local businesses are activated, and great partnerships bring this 5-day event to life.

Downtown is decorated with amazing Treefort artwork and venue spaces are crafted to create a fun, welcoming environment that encourages exploration and engagement for all Boiseans. Whether you want to hop on the free Treeline bus to get around downtown or spend time in Julia Davis Park, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

I love seeing my favorite bands perform and discovering new ones alongside Boiseans who share the same passion for our community. Some events that I am particularly excited about this year are Street Eats at Zoo Boise, visiting Main Stage, talking with The Boise Bubble podcast and more. I especially encourage you to check out the Youth Climate Action Council and Planning and Development Services event on Saturday afternoon on the corner of West River and South 8th Street where you can enjoy free music, popcorn, activities and interact with knowledgeable city employees.

Treefort brings out artists of all types and enhances our vibrant city; it is a strong example of how Boise truly is a city for everyone.
