Mayor Mclean, City Council Members To Be Sworn In

Boise City Council will convene at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9^th to bid farewell to councilmembers Patrick Bageant and Latonia Haney Keith. The outgoing council will take action on minutes and consent agenda items before taking a recess to prepare council chambers for the swearing in ceremony, which is set to begin at 6:00 p.m.

Mayor Lauren McLean will be sworn in to officially start her second term, followed by each council member in council district order. City Council will then select a Council President and Council President Pro Tem before adjourning. A reception will follow the official proceedings.

The public is invited to participate in the celebration beginning with an open house hosted by the Mayor’s Office from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
