Federal Judge Dismisses Case Against City of Boise

U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill dismissed a case brought by former City of Boise Police Captain Thomas Fleming against the City of Boise. Fleming claimed the city violated the Idaho Protection of Public Employees Act (IPPEA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Idaho Humans Rights Act (IHRA) during the scope of his employment with the city. After a hearing, Judge Winmill found insufficient evidence to support these claims and dismissed the case in its entirety.
