The Boise Parks and Recreation team is hosting a variety of classes and camps in the coming months. Registration for Boise residents of all ages opened today, Monday, December 6 and registration for non-residents opens Wednesday, December 8.

The City of Boise is committed to protecting our community and keeping all employees and participants safe. In line with current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance, masks are required indoors at all activities for ages 2 and up and at most outdoor Parks and Recreation outdoor activities regardless of vaccination status for the health and safety of all participants and staff. Our staff is focused on hosting small class sizes, practicing physical distancing and offering outdoor opportunities whenever possible.

“This time last year, we were entering an uncertain winter season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Fast forward to the winter of 2021 and we continue to innovate by adding affordable outdoor classes, virtual offerings, new camps, classes and activities to keep the whole family engaged,” said Boise Parks and Recreation Director Doug Holloway. “The health and safety of our staff and participants is always our top priority and we will continue to consult with state and local health officials as we work to provide safe and healthy outlets for our community.”
