Sun, rain or snow, Zoo Boise is a year-round destination. During the winter months, animals like the red pandas, snow leopards and others are more active. Most exhibits at Zoo Boise have indoor and outdoor areas allowing guests to see the animals whether the animals choose to be inside or outside.
Zoo Boise has turned the act of visiting the zoo into a conservation action. Since 2007, visits to Zoo Boise have generated more than $3 million toward the conservation of animals in the wild. Zoo Boise is accredited by the Association of Zoos & Aquariums, a national organization that supports excellence in animal care, conservation, education and science. Zoo Boise is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, with final admission at 4 p.m.
