New Facility Will Transform the Warm Springs Golf Course Experience

May 23, 2024

Construction of the new Warm Springs Grill + Golf facility is officially underway! The new and improved restaurant, event space and pro shop at Warm Springs Golf Course will serve golfers and community members for generations to come. Guests will also enjoy increased parking and a large, covered patio. City of Boise leaders, project partners and golf course association members gathered for a ceremonial groundbreaking at Warm Springs to celebrate.

"This golf course, located just minutes from downtown and a variety of Boise neighborhoods, is an important part of our city’s history and recreational offerings,” said Boise Mayor Lauren McLean. “We are proud to take this step toward enhancing the experience for everyone who visits, and I look forward to enjoying this new facility with the community when it opens in 2025.”

A generous donor gifted the City of Boise $3.5 million to help make the project a reality. The remaining balance to complete the facility is being funded through the City of Boise’s budget and golf course revenue. The project is expected to be completed next summer.

"This project is the realization of decades of hard work, planning, partnership and advocacy from Warm Springs golfers and association members,” added Boise Parks and Recreation Director Doug Holloway. “Soon, this incredible municipal golf course will have a state-of-the-art pro shop, event space and dining experience to match the course experience.”

Warm Springs Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course located along the beautiful Boise River. Already a popular gathering place for golfers of all ages and abilities, the new facility is expected to increase visitation and improve the experience for each and every community member who visits.

The golf course is open for play throughout construction and golfers are being routed around closed areas. The Boise River Greenbelt pathway along the course is also available for use. However, walkers, runners and cyclists passing through should be careful, slow down and pay attention to all posted signs especially at newly marked golf cart crossings. Thank you for your patience and understanding as Warm Springs Golf Course’s new facility takes shape.
