Fall Activity Registration Begins Monday, August 4

Summer is in full swing, and Boise Parks and Recreation’s Fall Activity Guide is coming in hot! Registration for the department’s popular school break camps, environmental education opportunities, art classes and more opens at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 4 for residents and Wednesday, August 6 for non-residents.

Fall activities include culinary classes for family and friends offered at Boise Urban Garden School (BUGS), performing art classes at Fort Boise Community Center, environmental education opportunities for all ages at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center, school break camps at Zoo Boise and much more.

The possibilities are endless with Boise Parks and Recreation’s affordable programming. Pick up new hobbies ranging from painting to pickleball at Fort Boise Community Center. Fine tune your golf skills with a range of lessons and classes offered at the City of Boise’s two municipal golf courses: Quail Hollow and Warm Springs. Sign up for afterschool fun with Kid City, Boise Parks and Recreation’s popular afterschool programming for kids in 1st through 6th grade at various school-based community centers. Lifetime and Leisure activities like Lunch Club, museum visits and more will continue this fall.

Additionally, Boise Parks and Recreation’s AdVenture Program continues to offer exciting classes and excursions for people with disabilities. Don’t miss out on all the fun!
