Warm Springs Grill + Golf Serves Up Patio Views and Fairway Fare for Golfers and the Community

July 30, 2025

It’s been a long time coming and the brand-new Warm Springs Grill + Golf facility, located along the Boise River in the heart of Warm Springs Golf Course, is ready to welcome you! This incredible state-of-the-art building, a $12 million public and private investment, levels the playing field and creates a welcoming place for golfers, Boise River Greenbelt users, families and more to enjoy a bite to eat or sip a cold drink in Southeast Boise.

Open to the public starting on Thursday, July 31, 2025, the highly energy efficient facility features a new and improved pro shop, Warm Springs Grill with indoor seating, a full bar, and a cart barn – the course now features a new fleet of fully electric golf carts. There is a beautiful event space with seating for up to 60 people inside the building as well, but the real showstopper is the 5,300 square foot patio overlooking the 18th green.

“This is an incredible space that would not be possible without a remarkable $3.5 million dollar gift and the longtime support of our golfers and association members,” said Boise Mayor Lauren McLean. “We are proud to welcome the community here to golf, make memories and enjoy the beauty of the nearby Boise River and Boise Foothills.”

The City of Boise has set a high standard for building energy performance, and this new facility meets the city’s Green Building Code requirements and uses electricity for heating. It replaces the aging clubhouse that has served the community for more than 50 years. Now that Warm Springs Grill + Golf is open, the old clubhouse will be removed, and additional vehicle and bicycle parking will be added for the golf course and grill. Meanwhile, the Mesa Reserve Trailhead serving the Ridge to Rivers Trail System is also located close by.

“This is truly a space that was designed to serve not only our valued golf community, but the entire City of Boise for generations to come,” added Boise Parks and Recreation Director Doug Holloway. “Our goal from the start of this project was to create a place that our residents can be proud of, and I’m grateful to the entire project team for making that long-standing dream a reality.”

A new ground mural is also taking shape along the Greenbelt outside the golf course facility’s entrance. Confluence by Boise artist Andie Kelly is inspired by the natural flow of the Boise River and the geothermal springs that shape the surrounding landscape. Golden currant blossoms, native to the Boise River’s riparian habitat, represent plant life in this rich microclimate. The project was coordinated by the Boise City Department of Arts & History. It is designed to promote awareness and safety at an often-busy intersection and create a welcoming pathway at Warm Springs Golf Course. We appreciate the community’s patience as Greenbelt access in the area is closed for completion of the mural, as well as much needed pathway repair and replacement near the golf course. The clubhouse is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the Warm Springs Grill kitchen is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. serving grab-and-go items, lunch, dinner, weekend breakfasts, and drinks at the bar. Please note, the grill is counter service only, and tables are available on a first come, first served basis both inside and out on the patio. Brunch will be served on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 to 10 a.m. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we open and operate this brand-new experience for our golfers, Greenbelt users and members of the community!
