Boise Parks and Recreation’s Fall Activity Guide is Out Now; Registration Starts Monday, August 3

It’s time to start planning for a fun-filled fall! Boise Parks and Recreation's 2026 Fall Activity Guide is packed with opportunities to stay active, creative and connected throughout the season. Registration for the department's popular school break camps, environmental education programs, art classes, sports, fitness opportunities and more opens at 7 a.m. on Monday, August 3, for Boise residents and 7 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, for non-residents.

This fall's lineup includes school break camps and homeschool opportunities at Zoo Boise, culinary classes for families and friends at Boise Urban Garden School (BUGS), a variety of art classes at Fort Boise Community Center, environmental education classes at the Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center, plus much more.

Registering for classes is easy with the Boise Parks and Recreation mobile app. Participants can browse programs, register for activities and manage their household account in one convenient place. The free app is available for download on Apple and Android devices here. Additionally, you can register online, over the phone by calling (208) 608-7680, or in-person at Fort Boise Community Center (700 Robbins Road). Our friendly and helpful staff are ready to assist!

The possibilities are endless with Boise Parks and Recreation's affordable programming. Explore new hobbies ranging from painting to pickleball, sharpen your golf game with lessons at one of Boise’s two municipal golf courses, Quail Hollow and Warm Springs, or enroll in Kid City, the department's popular after-school program for students in first through sixth grades at school-based community centers throughout the city. Lifetime and Leisure activities, including museum visits and other social outings, also return this fall.

Boise Parks and Recreation's AdVenture Program also offers inclusive recreation opportunities, classes and excursions for individuals with disabilities, ensuring everyone has the chance to learn, explore and have fun in every season.
